Powder Coating Maintenance
Care & Maintenance:
Powder Coating is a dry powder that uses finely ground particles of pigment and resin that are sprayed and electrostatically charged to products. The charged powder particles creates a hard finish through a curing oven, fusing into a uniform coating that’s tougher than paint.
Our most common finishes of Powder Coating are Matt Black, Satin White and Matt White.
Powder coating is one of the most durable finishes and requires mininal maintenance. Cleaning your powder coated handles requires simply wiping over the handle using a soft cloth with clean warm water. Do not use any harsh cleaners or chemicals and avoid scrubbing or rubbing hard.
For hard and stubborn grime or dirt you can use dish washing liquid with warm water or methylated spirits. For a final rinse use clean water and wipe with a soft dry cloth.
