Instead, it is a fixed handle used for decorative purposes, typically on the front of a door that does not require a functional handle such as a linen or wardrobe cupboard. Please note dummy handles are not suitable for French doors as they are single-sided only.

Euro: The euro design refers to the key lockable function that can be key to key or key to snib. Usually used for external doors for extra security. The euro lever will need a mortice lock (T14) and key cylinder (T39 or T49).
